Logbook content summary

The bare minimum logbook entry for an experiment should have the following

• Date
• Lab partner names
• Lab title
• Short summary of what you want to do and obtain
• Sketch of the experiment
• Descriptions of procedures
• Observations and measured values
• Abnormalities, unexpected behavior, and factors potentially influencing your measurements
• Plot (rough representation by hand is sufficient) of measured dependencies
• Analysis of the data (the end result of it will go to the lab report)
• Did the experiment worked out or not, and why so
