Goals

• Visit and observe scientists in their natural environment
• Learn about their projects
• Shop for a group to join for your research hours or a senior project

Procedure

The class will be split evenly into 2-3 large groups. Each will have its own schedule to follow.

Assignment

Write 1 or 2 paragraphs summarizing each visit. They should contain:

• Field of physics to which the lab belongs
• Goal(s) of the scientific project(s)
• employed methods, major equipment, tools
