Great Ideas in Physics
Physics 105
Fall 2002
Test 2 will cover Chapters 6-12 in Hobson (except 11.8).
The best way to study
is to review the "Summary of Ideas and Terms" for each
chapter. Test yourself and your friends on the material by answering
the "Review Questions" at the end of each chapter. Work through
the "Concept Checks" in the chapters (answers are at the end of
each chapter). You don't need to know any formulas, but you
should know what E=mc^2 means.
You won't be asked to do any math beyond ratios, percentages,
and estimates using powers of ten. Good luck!
