Physics 101 - Help and Tutoring - Fall 2016

  1. The Physics Department offers a free "Physics 101 Help Desk", staffed by Physics graduate students, for help/tutoring in this course.

The Physics 101 Help Desk is located in Small 259 (in the Physics Library, the room is called "Undergraduate Student Lounge").
It is open Wednesdays and Thursdays, 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm.
A detailed schedule is available here.

  2. The Society of Physics Students offers free tutoring for introductory physics (including Physics 101/102). Undergraduate physics majors volunteer to do this, out of the goodness of their hearts. Please treat them gently! Free of charge.

The SPS tutoring sessions this year are:

              Thursdays, 6:00 - 8:00pm(ish) , in Small 122

Note - if you are interested in arranging private tutoring, this is a great way to meet upper-level physics majors who might be interested in providing this.

  3. Tutoring is also available at Swem Library in the TutorZone for $12/hour.
  4. Both your Problem Session Instructor and I have office hours, so you are more than welcome to come to both or either if you have questions.
