Want to learn how to surf the Internet? Here is a good way to learn the basics. Even experienced internauts may find some useful information here.
These are lessons from a free workshop on the Internet created by Patrick Crispen, from the University of Alabama and conducted by E-mail. The workshop archived here began Thursday, February 9th, 1995, and was completed March 17th. Over 80,000 people from 77 countries subscribed to these workshops ( really! )
This local archive of the ROADMAP was created by David Armstrong . I hope you find it useful!
NOTE: These WWW versions of
the Roadmap where converted to HTML by me, not by Patrick Crispen, so
please E-mail any questions or comments or rude remarks to
me (armd@physics.wm.edu) not to Patrick!
(in case you are interested, I
used the nice Perl script
txt2html to convert the
ascii txt to html format, and then did a bit more formating afterwards)
